ORDER

Alleging that the order of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.8164 of 2022, dated 26.04.2022, has not been complied with, the petitioner has come up before this Court with this Contempt Petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, has produced a proceeding of the Additional Collector (Revenue), Thanjavur, in Na.Ka.No.34640/2020/E2, dated 17.11.2022, and submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur, will enquire into the matter and pass appropriate orders as per Revenue Standing Order 31.

3. Recording the same, the Contempt Petition is closed, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur, to enquire into the matter and pass appropriate orders as per Revenue Standing Order 31, as expeditiously as possible.
