The instant writ petition has been filed by a Draftsman working in the fifth respondent office seeking a Mandamus to consider his name for promotion to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) in view of the proceedings of the third respondent, dated 01.11.2022.

2. Seeking the above said benefits, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 18.07.2024 and the same has been forwarded by the fifth respondent to the second respondent herein. According to the petitioner, the proposal is pending with the second respondent.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 18.07.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
