Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation in Crime No.1/2021 on his file. ORDER

Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 2.The petitioner moved this Court for forbearing the respondents from harassing her under the guise of investigation in Crime No.1 of 2021, on the file of the Q Branch CID, Theni. The petitioner was on the verge of delivering a child. 1/3

3.Considering the petitioner's medical condition, I called upon the respondents not to put the petitioner under any kind of stress. I am happy to record that the respondents dealt with the petitioner appropriately. The petitioner had delivered a child on 06.12.2021. Taking note of all these aspects, the direction earlier given to the respondents will hold till 31.03.2022.

4.The specific stand of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is that the writ petitioner is figuring as the first accused in the aforesaid case.

5.Therefore, it is for the petitioner to workout her rights in a manner known to law.

6.With this liberty to the petitioner, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
