This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.318/2018 dated 11.06.2018 on the file of the second respondent. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.12700 of 2018 3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the petitioner filed this petition to challenge the summon issued against him under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of June, 2018. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost one and a half years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.
4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
