... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the impugned order dated 27.09.2022 bearing No.Ku.Aa.No.
526-2/MePo/MaMiPaVa/Madhu/Ni.A/Ni.Me/NiPi.1/Vu3/2022 passed by the 1st respondent transferring the petitioner from Thirumangalam to Chekkanoorani and quash the same as devoid of merit and consequently directing the petitioner to continue his employment as commercial inspector in the office of TANGEDCO at Thirumangalam forthwith. 1/4
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Palani Velayutham For Respondents : Mr.S.Arivalagan, Standing Counsel.
ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner questions the impugned order of transfer. He has been transferred from Thirumangalam to Chekkanoorani. The distance between two places of work will be hardly 10 Kms. The petitioner is not suffering any reduction of pay or rank. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that within 2 1⁄2 years, he had been disturbed and that the transfer order has come during the middle of the academic year, I am still not inclined to interfere because there is no real hardship caused to the writ petitioner. In any event, his rights have not at all been infringed. The writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 10.10.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 2/4
