ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.05.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 22(C), 25 and 29(i) of NDPS Act in Crime No.04 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the nature of allegations in this case that the commercial quantity of methamphetamine and other chemicals being recovered from the prime accused and as far as the present petitioner is concerned, it is stated that materials have been collected which include contact with the other accused and CDR location and also call details and also crossing the Tollgate etc., the investigation is not yet fully completed and that the trial court has also granted extension of time, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present.
4. Since the petitioner is in prison and it is stated that different chemicals were seized and they are all now pending with the laboratory for analysis, the copy of this order shall be placed before the concerned laboratory by the Investigating Officer 2/3
and the experts shall endeavour to expedite the analysis report within a period of one month.
