PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, directing the second respondent herein to withdraw the case in Crime No.85 of 2022 on the file of the fifth respondent Police and entrust the same to the fourth respondent or any other competent officer in charge of nearby Police Station for investigation of the case and file a final report before the Court concerned within the time stipulated by this Court.

For petitioner : Mr.J.Vijayaraja For Respondents : Mr.B.Nambiselvan, Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER Today when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the investigation has been conducted in Crime No.85 of 2022 by the respondent Police and on completion of investigation, charge sheet is also filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, by way of E-Filing and the same was not taken on file.

2. In view of the above, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, is directed to number the charge sheet within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed with the trial.
