PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.2/2022 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.08.2024 for the offences under Sections 409, 465, 466, 468, 471, 472, 477(A), r/w. 109 IPC and 13(2) r/w. 13(1)(c), 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and 13

(2) r/w. 13(1) (a) of Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018 in Crime No. 2 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police seeks bail.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Considering the nature of allegations that the petitioner along with the other accused have indulged in converting the Government poramboke land as private lands in connivance with the officials and considering the fact that the investigation is still in nascent stage with reference to the transactions relating to this petitioner, for the present, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on Bail. 2/3
