ORDER
This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 319 days occurred in representing the returned papers in the above said appeal. 1/3
2.This appeal has been filed by the insurance company in M.C.O.P.No.897 of 2021 against the award, dated 14.04.2024, passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Court, Madurai, with a petition to condone the delay. Due to some defects the papers were returned by the Registry. To represent the rectified papers there is some delay occurred. To condone the above said delay, this petition has been filed.
3.The respondent has filed the above said MCOP seeking compensation for his accidental injuries and his disability.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and accepting the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this Court is inclined to allow this application on condition.
5.Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,00/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) to the Women Lawyers Association attached to the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.On the above said condition, this civil miscellaneous petition stands allowed. Failing which this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any reference to this Court.
