For Petitioner : Mr.B.Arun For R1 & R2 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 17.07.2023.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the property bearing Survey No. 581/2A1. The respondent no.1, who has no right or concerned, has tress-passed into the schedule of the property, on which, the petitioner filed the representation before the police on 17.07.2023 for providing police protection, but there was no response, therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submitted that earlier to this representation dated 17.07.2023, the 2/5

petitioner has already sent a representation and it was registered as C.S.R.No.321 of 2023 and after due enquiry, the said representation was closed directing the parties to approach the appropriate Civil Court. However, the petitioner has sent one more similar application and the said application was numbered as current paper and it was closed after due enquiry by advising the parties to approach the Civil Court.

The dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is purely civil in nature and the petitioner instead of approaching the civil court and sought for injunction has approached the police seeking for protection. According to the respondent, the petitioner has not made out any grounds for providing police protection.
