This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.173/2022, on the file of the first respondent. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are the accused Nos.1 to 7 in Crime No.173 of 2022. They had entered into a compromise with the defacto complainant. Further, he submits that it is the case in counter. The defacto complainant herein is the accused person in an FIR in Crime No.174 of 2022, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Guzhilamparai Police Station, Dindigul District. Both the parties had arrived at compromise, on the advise of the village elders. In this regard, compromise memo was also filed.

3.The learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent is also present before this Court.

4.In view of the above submission, the joint compromise memo, which has been filed in this regard is recorded. This criminal original petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.173 of 2022, on the file of the first respondent, is hereby quashed in so far as the petitioners alone and the terms of joint compromise memo shall form part and parcel of this order. 10.11.2022 Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/No lr To 1.The Inspector of Police, Guzilamparai Police Station, Dindigul District.
