PRAYER:- Writ Petition - filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the additional charge allowance to the petitioner for the additional work performance as field Assistant at Kalikesam Unit, Manalodai Division, Tamilnadu Arasu Rubber Corporation Ltd from 22.05.2016 to 13.10.2016 for a total sum of Rs.1,75,000/- with interest at the rate of 12% per annum. ORDER

The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the respondents, who are the officials of the Arasu Rubber Corporation Limited to disburse additional charge allowance for additional work performance as the Field Assistant at the Kalikesam Unit, Manalodai 1/3

Division, Tamilnadu Arasu Rubber Corporation Ltd for period from 22.05.2016 to 13.10.2016 with interest.

2. The claim is resisted on the ground that no order has been placed establishing the entitlement of the petitioner to additional charge allowance. That apart, the respondents state that the representation of the petitioner dated 0.01.2016 seeking the same relief was rejected and such rejection was duly communicated vide order dated 30.04.2016. This order was not challenged.

3. Dehors this position, since the learned counsel for the petitioner would deny the receipt of order dated 30.04.2016, let the representations of the petitioner on various dates between 13.06.2016 to 22.01.2018 be disposed after hearing the petitioner, in accordance with law and bearing in mind all applicable Rules and Regulations. The aforesaid exercise shall be carried out within 12 weeks from today. All contentions are left upon to be argued by both parties.

4. This writ petition is disposed as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
