RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners 1 to 3, 10 to 14 and 17 to 22 by directing them to appear before the respondent police as and when required duly considering their precarious condition 1/3

thereby extending the time limit towards the compliance of the order as fixed by this Hon'ble Court vide order dated 02.09.2022 passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.15276 of 2022 on the file of this Hon'ble Court. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.PRAHALAD RAVI B, Advocate for the petitioners and of MR.A.ALBERT JAMES, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners 1 to 3, 10 to 14 and 17 to 22, by directing them to appear before the respondent police as and when required. 2.This Court, on 02.09.2022, in Crl.O.P(MD)No.15276 of 2022, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions, one of which is that the petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the timelimit for surrender of all the petitioners may be extended and that since the petitioners are living in the same locality, two common sureties for each petitioner may be modified. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 5.Since the petitioners 1 to 3 are aged persons and the petitioners 10 to 14 & 17 to 22 are women and also the petitioners are living in the same locality, the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners is accepted and the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.15276 of 2022, dated 02.09.2022 are modified as follows:

(i) The petitioners 1 to 3, 10 to 14 & 17 to 22 are directed to appear before the respondent police, as and when required;

(ii) The time period for surrender of the petitioners before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Manaparai, is extended by two weeks from today;

(iii) The petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, with two common sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned.

6.The other conditions imposed by this Court, in the order dated 02.09.2022, passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.15276 of 2022 shall remain unaltered. This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed accordingly.
