ORDER
The writ Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to complete the enquiry in the Patta Appeal proceedings submitted bythe petitioner dated 18.01.2025.
2. Heard Mr.D.Senthil, counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, for the respondents 1 and 2. With the consent of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3. According to the petitioner, patta for the subject property in Survey No.77/17 in Thayamangalam Revenue Group, Ilayangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, stood in the name of one Muthukone and the petitioner's grand mother Thiruvayee in patta No.211. Now the revenue records are mutated only in the name of one Sakunthala, descendant of Muthukone and the name of the descendant of Thiruvayee was not included in the patta. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an appeal before the first respondent on 18.01.2025, seeking inclusion of the names
of the descendant of Thiruvayee, including the petitioner. The appeal has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
4. Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the appeal submitted by the petitioner would be considered.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the patta appeal filed by the petitioner dated 18.01.2025 and pass final orders within a period of 12 weeks after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, the third respondent and other interested parties.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
