ORDER

By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to revise the annual list of Forester published as on 01.01.2024 by considering the objections raised by the petitioners dated 27.02.2025.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that they were initially appointed as Forest Guard and subsequently promoted as Forester and their next promotional post is Forest Ranger and their crucial date of promotion is 15.08.2016. While so, though the petitioners are eligible to be considered for promotion in the year 2016-17, the petitioners were given promotion belated on 12.10.2020. Subsequently, an annual list of foresters were published on 01.01.2024, the petitioners are aggrieved by the said list. Therefore, they made representations/objections to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
