[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been kept under suspension based on the letter written by the Regional Divisional Officer, Palani, dated 09.10.2023, stating that the records relating to community certificate dated 24.02.1994, produced by him are not available. As per the guidelines issued pursuant to the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Mathuri Patel's case, the petitioner would be entitled to seek verification his community certificate by writing to the Director of Adi Dravidar Welfare. 3.Mr.S.R.A.Ramachandran, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the petitioner chooses to make an application, necessary action will be taken as prescribed
under the Manual on Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Community Certificate - Issuance and Verification.
4.Hence, the Writ Petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to make an application as provided under the Manual and the respondents will carry out the verification as prescribed under the Manual, upon the application being made by the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
