This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal dated 03.09.2022, pertaining to cancellation of the Patta standing in the name of the third respondent in respect of the petitioner's landed property to an extent of 10 cents in S.No.1028, Vadugampatti Village, Gujiliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District as expeditiously as possible.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 03.09.2022, seeking to cancel the Patta stands in the name of the third respondent in respect of her property in 2/5
S.No.1028 situated at Vadugampatti Village, Gujiliyamparai Taluk, Dindigul District and the same is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition, seeking to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 3 to 5.
4. Considering the above facts, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 03.09.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twenty weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
