O R D E R

The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned I Additional District Court, Tuticorin, Thoothukudi District to complete the 1/4

trial in O.S.No.67 of 2020 on the file of the I Additional District Court, Thoothukudi District, with in a specific period.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is aged about 81 years, and that the suit is pending for defence side evidence from 15.03.2022, without any progress.

3. Since the Civil Revision Petition is filed for early disposal of the case, no notice is necessary to the respondents herein.

4. Having considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also having considered the age of the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to give a direction to the Court below.

5. From the perusal of the daily orders, it appears that since 2022 onwards, the matter was posted for defence side evidence without any progress. Therefore, the trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.67 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6. In the result, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
