ORDER
The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 2 to issue patta in his favour in respect of 4.7 cents of land comprised in Survey No.39/1 situated at No.185, East Big Veethi, Mukkudal, Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2022.
2. Heard Mr.B.Prahalad Ravi, counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, Government Advocate, for the respondents. With the consent of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property on 10.07.1987 from one Veluchamy. He in turn purchased the same under the registered sale deed dated 02.07.1976. After purchase, the petitioner has put up a residential house and has been residing there on. He submitted a representation before the third respondent on 08.06.2022, seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
4. Learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner is under consideration by the second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.Aa2/10216/2024 dated 07.02.2025.
5. Since the representation submitted by the petitioner is under consideration of the second respondent, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, is inclined to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in Na.Ka.No.Aa2/10216/2024 dated 07.02.2025, and pass final orders on its
own merits within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
