ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide power supply to the petitioner's house in door No.433 in S.No.14/2B2, measuring an extent of 0.4350 Ares at Veppakkadu village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner's representation for power connection for his house will be considered and disposed of subject to the petitioner providing necessary indemnity bond as per Board Circular No.27/4 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code.
3. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of at the time of admission by directing the respondents to give power connection subject to the petitioner provides indemnity bond as contemplated under the aforesaid regulation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
