O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.218 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent police.

2. As per the averments in the complaint properties worth about Rs.8,00,000/- was damaged and lease amount of Rs.2,65,000/- is with the second Respondent. The learned Counsel appearing for the second Respondent is present before this Court. The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submit that when the case came up for hearing on earlier occasion, this Court had put query whether the amount mentioned in the petition has been received by the affected party/victim. Accordingly the learned Counsel for the Petitioner submit that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. The learned Counsel appearing for the second Respondent also concedes the same.

3. The learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.218 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent police on the ground after registration of the First Information Report, Petitioners herein, who are arrayed as accused 2/4

and the De-facto Complainant had arrived at a compromise. A Joint Compromise Memo is also filed along with this Petition. 4.By way of reply, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that he has no objection to quash the First Information Report by recording compromise.

5.In the light of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Petition is allowed and the proceedings in First Information Report in Crime No. 218 of 2022 on the file of the first Respondent police is quashed.
