ORDER
The petitioner, aggrieved over the issuance of patta in favour of the fourth respondent in respect of the subject property, has submitted an application before the CM's Cell and has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the third respondent / Tahsildar to cancel the patta. 2.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.
3.Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner was forwarded by the CM's Cell to the Sub Collector, Paramakudi for conducting enquiry. She further submitted that summons have already been issued to the petitioner 2/4
directing her to appear for enquiry on 07.09.2023 at 03.30 pm along with relevant documents.
4.Since it is represented that the Sub Collector, Paramakudi, has already commenced inquiry based on the petitioner's representation, this writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the Sub Collector, Paramakudi, to conduct the enquiry, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the fourth respondent and other interested parties, if any and conclude the proceedings, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
