ORDER

This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 26.02.2021 made in M.C No.90 of 2019 on the file of Family Court, Tiruchirappalli.

2.The petitioner and the respondent got married on 28.02.2015. After their marriage, the petitioner went to abroad for his avocation. Due to their misunderstandings, they got separated. The respondent was driven out from the matrimonial home, she is residing with her parents. The petitioner and his family members demanded huge dowry. Therefore, the respondent filed a petition for maintenance in M.C.No. 90 of 2019. In the meanwhile, the petitioner also filed a petition for dissolution of marriage in H.M.O.P.No.116 of 2019, on the ground of cruelty and desertion and the same was dismissed. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal and the same is pending before this Court. In the meanwhile, this petitioner also returned to India. Therefore, the Court below awarded maintenance of Rs.5,000/- per month, payable by the petitioner herein.

Crl.R.C(MD)No.911 of 2021 3.From the above, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed. Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
