ORDER
This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to restore the EB connections given to the petitioner in Service connection Nos. 06-422-002-457 and 06-422-002-109, on the land, situated at Door No. 12B, 1st Ward, Kothandapani street, Kumbakonam town, Thanjavur District, pursuant to the petitioner's representation, dated 25.06.2025. 2/5
3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has occupied the encroached property and therefore, the EB connections that were given to the petitioner earlier were disconnected.
4. It is therefore submitted that in absence of the records to show that the petitioner is the owner of the property, the EB connections were disconnected.
5. Having considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, the Court is inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition at the time of admission without expressing any opinion on merits by directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner within a period of two
(2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
