ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 16.03.2019, preferred against the order dated 22.02.2019, passed by the second respondent.
2.Mr.K.Sathya Singh, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he is working as Driver in the respondent Corporation. He was issued with a charge memo dated 19.12.2018. The petitioner has submitted his explanation. However, the second respondent, by his proceedings dated 22.02.2019, has sustained the charge and imposed the punishment of stoppage of increment for one month without any cumulative effect. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 16.03.2019. However, till date, no order has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.21752 of 2019 been passed thereon. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.
4.Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, without deciding the issues on merits, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 16.03.2019, preferred by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
