2. According to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioners is the second respondent.

3. In view of the above submission, the following direction is issued: "The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 04.04.2022 on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

4. This writ petition stands allowed with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
