The petitioner seeks a Mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the provisional list fixing the seniority of Sanitary Inspectors workings in the Municipalities, dated 10.11.2006.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner reports fairly that despite the seniority list being of the year 2006, there has been no move till date to revise the list. Thus, the writ petition is, in itself, unnecessary. Mr.A.K.Manikkam, learned Special Government Pleader does not dispute the statement.
