ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to settle the amount that is due and payable to the petitioner based on the representation made by him on 16.06.2019, in the light of the reports submitted by the third respondent, dated 20.11.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the third respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he is a registered Contractor and the third respondent had allotted certain contract works. The petitioner completed the works and the third respondent had also submitted a report in this regard. The grievance of the petitioner is that a sum of Rs.5,68,339/- is due and payable to him and since this amount was not paid, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the report of the third respondent, dated 20.11.2019, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to settle the amount that is due and payable to the petitioner, based on the representation made by him, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the amount is not settled within the time stipulated by this Court, it will carry an interest of 7.5% from the date when the amount became due and payable till the date of realization.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
