The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 & 5 to issue work order to the petitioner for the upgradation work of Thar Road from Sheep Farm to Graveyard (Mayanakarai) in Kunnur Village, Vathira Iruppu Taluk,

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the only ternderer to apply the upgradation work of Thar Road from sheep Farm to Graveyear in Kunnur Village, Vathirairuppu Taluk, Virudhunagar District. But, till now, the respondents 3 & 5 have not issued work order to him for the aforesaid work. The petitioner has already paid the necessary amount. 2/5

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 3 & 5, on instructions, would submit that on 15.06.2022 itself the work order has been issued to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 3 & 5, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index :Yes/No Internet :Yes/No 13.10.2022 am 3/5
