ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 13.06.2025 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the property situated in S.No.290/18A, at Kalapur Village, Singampunari Sub division, Sivagangai District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.G.M.Xavier, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, his father Nagarajan purchased the subject property from one Chellappan under sale deed dated 26.02.1985. The patta for the property stands in the name of the said Chellappan and four others in patta No.2985. The petitioner submitted a representation on 13.06.2025 seeking issuance of patta in his name based on the above mentioned document. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the pattadhars whose names are mentioned in the patta No.2985. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.
