ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police 1/3
for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 315, 316, 318(4), 351 BNS in Cr.No.Not Known of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submits that the defacto complainant is the daughter-in-law of the first petitioner. Based on the complaint, they have initiated enquiry and the same is pending in CSR.No.169 of 2025. He further submits that they have referred the matter to the Social Welfare Officer for enquiry.
3.In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and co-operate enquiry. The respondent Police shall not arrest the petitioners for a period of two weeks. The respondent Police as well as the Social Welfare Officer shall find out the possibilities for amicable settlement. In the event, if no settlement arrived at between the parties before the Social Welfare Officer, it is open to the respondent Police to take further course of action on the enquiry in CSR.No.169 of 2025. The petitioners are at liberty to file fresh petition, if any criminal case has been registered.
