ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to settle the terminal benefits amount payable to the petitioner such as P.F. amount of Rs.1,29,354/- and refund amount of Post Retirement Benefits Scheme amount of Rs.2,300/- in total Rs.1,31,654/- together with 6% interest from the date of her husband's death (i.e.) 06.01.2017 to till the date of payment and all other attendant benefits to her.

2. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. When the petitioner herein had made an application under the Right to Information Act for details of her entitlement for the Provident Fund and Post Retirement Benefits Scheme, the respondents herein, through an order, dated 13.07.2013, had replied stating that as on 13.07.2013, a sum of Rs.64,667/- of employee share and Rs.64,667/- as employer share (including interest up to 31.07.2013) Total Rs.1,29,334/- and Rs.2,300/- towards the payment of refund 2/5

amount of Post Retirement Benefits Scheme amount of Rs.2,300/- in grand total Rs.1,31,634/- is payable to the petitioner which is lying with them vide letter Nos.7633 and 1886, dated 09.01.2023 and 01.04.2023.

In the light of the information supplied by the respondents herein, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 09.04.2023 and 21.06.2023, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and disburse the said amount of Rs.1,31,654/- together with interest at the rate of 6% from the date on which the amount is due to the petitioner herein.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
