ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 10.07.2019 for stepping up of the pay of the petitioner in the post of Superintendent Grade II / Sub Treasury Officer and Assistant Treasury Officer for revision of Pension, within a specified time frame that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.Mr.S.Dhayalan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he is a retired Assistant Treasury Officer. The benefits granted in Rule 4(3) of G.O.No.162, Finance (PC) Department, dated 13.06.1998, were not granted to the petitioner. W.P.(MD) No.21769 of 2019 pensionary benefits than that of the pensionary benefits, for which the petitioner is entitled. Therefore, he has sent several representations to the respondents, lastly on 10.07.2019. However, till date, no order has been passed thereon. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition.

4.Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, without deciding the issues on merits and the delay in sending the representation, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2019 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
