2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a senior citizen and has been appearing before the learned I Additional District Judge, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District as party-in-person and that Crl.R.C.No.3 of 2022 is not being disposed of, even though the respondent has engaged a counsel and the matter has been listed for submission of arguments since 10.04.2023. Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner himself has submitted the arguments, sought for suitable directions to the learned I Additional District Judge, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District to expedite the disposal of Crl.R.C.No.3 of 2022.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned I Additional District Judge, Thoothukudi, Thoothukudi District is directed to expedite the trial in Crl.R.C.No.3 of 2022 and dispose of the same as quickly as possible, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of.
