Respondents in both petitions COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue fresh notification and to conduct first year and Second Year M.A. Economic Examination under the old syllabus for the academic year 2016-2017 based on the petitioners' representations dated 01.09.2021.
For Petitioner : Mr.C.Arulvadivel @ Sekar For Respondents : Mr.Mahaboob Athiff Standing Counsel (in both writ petitions.) COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed for Mandamus on the very same ground that the representations given by the respective petitioners were not considered. The respective petitioners have sought for issuance of fresh notification to conduct Second Year M.A. Economic Examination under the old syllabus for the academic year 2016-2017 and they have given separate representations, both 1/3
dated 01.09.2021. Admittedly, the said representations have not been considered till date.
2.Heard Mr.Arulvadivel @ Sekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Mahaboob Athiff, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
3.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the representations of the respective petitioners are considered on merits and in accordance with law.
4.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioners both dated 01.09.2021, seeking for issuance of fresh notification to conduct Second Year M.A. Economic Examination under the old syllabus for the academic year 2016-2017 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the aforesaid directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
