Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct Kabadi competition scheduled to be held on 26.12.2021 conducted by Simson Kabadi Club at Kamarajar Nursery and Primary school playground in Puzhiyangudi, Tenkasi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2021. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Pandian For Respondents : Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, Additional Public Prosecutor.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 2.The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned sports event. It is stated that there is no communal problem. Since social life has almost returned to normalcy, the second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner herein to conduct the petition mentioned sports event. It is open to the second respondent to stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. The petitioner through his counsel gives an undertaking that the organisers of the event will adhere to the norms that may be stipulated in the order granting permission.
