ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The respondent police registered a case as against this petitioner in Crime No.184 of 2025 for the offence under Sections 194(3) BNSS Act @ 108 BNS and 1/5

remanded him into judicial custody on 27.06.2025. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the deceased in this case is a college mate of the petitioner. The deceased married another person and her husband is working in abroad. The petitioner herein was having extra-marital affair with the deceased and he had coerced her and on account of the same, the deceased committed suicide. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. However, he is languishing in jail from 27.06.2025. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent opposes for grant of bail on the ground that the petitioner has coerced the defacto complainant to have physical relationship with him and called her over phone just two hours prior to the occurrence.

5.It appears that the investigation agency has not collected any other material, apart from the phone call details. Considering the period of incarceration, this Court 2/5

is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, i) on the petitioner executing a bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangudi.

ii) The petitioner and the sureties shall submit a copy of their Aadhaar Card or any other identity card issued by the government in proof of their residence address;

iii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent Police daily twice, ie., morning 10.30 am., and evening 05.00 pm., for a period of thirty days.

iv) The petitioner shall not misuse the liberty granted to him by 3/5

indulging in any further offence and shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses. He shall be available for the trial as well. v) On violation of any of the above conditions by the petitioner, the respondent police shall move an application for cancellation of the bail.
