[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings in No.726/Utha.2/2024 issued by the 2nd respondent, dated 23.10.2024 and quash the same, and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to grant 40 days of ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's brother, Sabeer Ahammed, S/o Sheik Ali, PID No.72047.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Pursuant to the order passed by the 2nd respondent during October 2024, the present Writ Petition has been filed. However, this Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of delay and laches and is accordingly Page No.2 of 4

dismissed. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation. No costs.
