The petitioner, who is a Sub-Registrar, has been arrayed as an accused. He has filed this petition seeking to quash the First Information Report on the ground that he had no role in the commission of the alleged offence.

2. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the petitioner's name has been deleted in Crime No.9 of 2022.

3. Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed.
