ORDER

Challenging the order passed by the learned District and Sessions Judge, Karur in Crl.M.P.No.1053 of 2025 dated 24.07.2025 allowing the condone delay petition seeking to condone the delay of 251 days in filing the appeal with a condition, directing the petitioner to pay the entire cheque amount, this criminal revision case is filed.

2. Considering the relief sought for in this case, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that directing the petitioner to pay the entire cheque amount is onerous and that he is prepared to pay 20% of the cheque amount. The petitioner further submitted that he has arguable points to succeed in the appeal.

4. In view of the same, the impugned order is modified by directing the petitioner to deposit the 25% of the cheque amount and all the other part of the order passed by the learned District and Sessions 2/4

Judge, Karur stands confirmed.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Revision Case is partly allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 22.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No gbg To 1.The District and Sessions Judge, Karur.
