O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for expeditious completion of investigation by the respondent Police in Crime No.454 of 2022 dated 07.11.2022.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the Police have registered a case in Crime No.454 of 2022 on 07.11.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 120B, 409, 420 and 381 IPC. The investigation is still pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondent, on the other hand, submits that the police have examined eight witnesses so far and the investigation is in progress. He requests short time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
