ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to

dispose of the petition filed by the petitioner dated 03.07.2025 within a time stipulate by this Court.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.M.Mathankarthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that she along with her mother and sister, is entitled to 1.83 Acres of land in Survey No.330/1C, Punnam Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District. However, in the UDR records, the extent of the property is wrongly mentioned as 1.49 acres instead of 1.83 acres. However, there is no response from the respondent. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent

would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.A reading of the application submitted by the petitioner would indicate that she seeks correction of the UDR records. Therefore, the competent authority to consider the representation of the petitioner is the District Revenue Officer. However, the petitioner submitted the application before the respondent. In these circumstances, the respondent is directed to forward the application of the petitioner to the District Revenue Officer, Karur, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The said authority shall consider the same and pass final orders on its own merits, within a further period of twelve weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties.
