JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] We find no reason to interfere with the order of the Writ Court. Registration of an instrument of conveyance was refused by the appellant on the ground that the land has been classified as Anathenam in the revenue records and a guideline value is shown as nil. The 1st respondent has produced the patta issued to her in respect of the very same survey number. The fact that the land is shown as Anathenam in the settlement register cannot be a ground for refusal to register the sale deed, more so, when the revenue records stand in the name of the 1st respondent. As regards the nil value shown in the guideline register, the writ Court had taken care to direct the respondents to fix the guideline value also.

2. The writ appeal, therefore, fails and it is accordingly, dismissed. The petitioner will represent the document for registration within four (4) weeks from the date of recepit of the copy of this order and the respondent will register and return the same within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of presentation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
