Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the Petitioner's land measuring an extent of 0.34.00 hectares comprised in Patta No. 1519 in S.No.232/4 situated at Thirumalapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District and lay boundary stones based on E.Challan, dated 23.4.2025 submitted to the first respondent within the time limit stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to survey the Petitioner's property in S.No.232/4 situated at Thirumalapuram Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District.

2.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, the subject property is her ancestral property and the patta for the subject property stands in the name of Petitioner's father Sappani, son of Kotta Karuppan in Patta No.1519. The Petitioner submitted an application on 23.4.2025 in Application NO.2025/0123/34/005920 seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered till date. Hence the Petitioner has come before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that 2/5

there are lot of vegetation in the subject property and therefore, the respondents are unable to survey the subject property. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application submitted by the Petitioner on 23.4.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner, other legal heirs of the Petitioner's father Sappani, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order. 6.It is needless to say that the Petitioner shall remove the vegetation in the subject property to facilitate the respondents to survey the said property without any problem within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the same to the first respondent.

7.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
