For Respondent : Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.Not Known of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498(A) and 406 IPC, in Crime No.Not known of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that no case has been registered against the petitioners. Based on the complaint received against the petitioners enquiry has been undertaken in C.P.No.656 of 2021. In spite of repeated summons to the petitioners, they did not appear before the Enquiry Officer.

3.Since no case has been registered against the petitioners, petition seeking anticipatory bail may not lie. However, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.19321 of 2021 petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer in responding to the summons.

4.With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
