PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.06 of 2022 dated 22.08.2022 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same in so far as the petitioners are concerned. 1/4

For petitioners : Mr.Sarvagan Prabhu For R1 : Mr.B.Nambiselvan Additional Public Prosecutor For R2 : Mr.E.Jayakumar O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.06 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent herein as against the petitioners.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the issue has been amicably settled in between the parties and hence, this Court may permit the petitioners and the defacto complainant to produce the compromise memo before the first respondent police and this Court may also issue a direction to the first respondent Police to close the cases as "Action Dropped".

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted that if the parties are produced the compromise memo, the first respondent police is ready to close the cases as "Action dropped"

4.In view of the above, the first respondent Police is directed to close the FIR in Cr.No.06 of 2022 as "Action Dropped", if the compromise memo is produced by the parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
