This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Mandamus to the respondent Police to initiate action basing on the complaint, dated 12.08.2023, against the persons, who have caused grievous injuries on the petitioner.

When this matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, basing on the complaint, dated 12.08.2023, a case has been registered in Crime No.1074 of 2023 for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 323, 324 and 506 (ii) of I.P.C and it is also submitted that, basing on a complaint given by the rival party, a case has also been registered against the petitioner and both crimes are investigated into.

3. Since the very purpose of filing this petition has already been defeated on account of filing of FIR, no further directions will be given. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
