O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 and 4 to consider the fifth respondent's request and approve the petitioner in the post of Music Teacher in the Mary Ann Best Girls Higher Secondary School, Tuticorin District and disburse the grant in aid from the date of appointment.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as a Music Teacher in the fifth respondent School 2/6
against a sanctioned post. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the queries raised by the respondents 3 and 4 were duly clarified by the fifth respondent though its letter dated 25.03.2025, the proposal for approval of the petitioner's appointment has not yet been acted upon. It is further submitted that, no orders have been passed on the said proposal till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the proposal dated 25.03.2025, forwarded by the fifth respondent seeking approval of the petitioner's appointment and to pass appropriate orders thereon, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent, to consider the proposal of the petitioner dated 25.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the 3/6
date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the fourth respondent to consider the same on its own merits.
