Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents forthwith to sanction and disburse all monetary benefits i.e., arrears of salary and other attendant benefits to the petitioner from the date of her initial appointment w.e.f. 02.12.2020 to January 2025. 1/6

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents forthwith to sanction and disburse all monetary benefits i.e., arrears of salary and other attendant benefits to the petitioner from the date of her initial appointment w.e.f. 02.12.2020 to January 2025.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been appointed as Assistant Professor (English) in the fourth respondent college and an approval of appointment was sought by the petitioner and the same was rejected by the second respondent. After several litigations, she was granted approval. However, her salary was 2/6

disbursed only from the month of February 2025. Hence, the petitioner came before this Court.

Per contra, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the appeal filed by the State in WA(MD)No.858 of 2025 has been dismissed by this Court directing the second respondent herein to consider the proposal submitted by the fourth respondent college. However, as on date, no orders have been passed in this regard.

5. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the fourth respondent to sanction necessary proposal to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to pass a speaking order in accordance with law, in compliance with the order of the Division Bench of this Court in WA(MD)No.858 of 2025 dated 07.04.2025, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
