ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) Heard M/s.Sankar Shanmugham, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Veeranthiran, learned Government Advocate, for respondents 3 and 4.
2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of the Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1st, 2nd 2/6
and 3rd respondents to take appropriate proceedings to restrict the Dasara Groups to Sing and Dance for Non Devotional Cinema Songs, Kuthu Songs, Double Meaning Songs and Gana Songs while conducting Cultural Festivals or Programme, Adal Padal or any other programme during Dasara in connection to the Arultharum Mutharamman Thirukovil, Kulasekarapattinam, Thoothukudi District.
3. This Court is unable to entertain the writ petition as this Court had entertained a writ petition filed by the same petitioner on earlier occasion in W.P(MD)No.21756 of 2022 and vide order dated 14.09.2022, issued directions, directing that obscene or vulgar dance should be specifically prohibited by the police authorities. Further, in yet another writ petition filed by one V.Kannan in W.P(MD)No.22591 of 2022, this Court issued further directions vide order, dated 26.09.2022. Already this Court has given directions in this regard and the petitioner has enclosed earlier orders in the typed set.
4. In case, the petitioner finds any violation of the earlier orders of this Court and if the petitioner wants strict enforcement of the earlier orders, it is open to the petitioner to file a contempt petition 3/6
and not a fresh writ petition. Therefore, we do not find any merit in this writ petition.
5. Though some of the above said orders passed in the writ petitions were confined to the previous year only, the respondents are directed to strictly abide by the earlier orders of this Court referred to above.
6. With the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
